Sustainable hotels, the new trend in the tourism sector
More and more hotel establishments are going for energy efficiency in their business plans, which means significant savings as well as benefitting the environment. Besides which, customers value sustainable hotels when deciding where to stay.
According to the data obtained from the “The cocktail analysis” study on tourism and online efficiency, customers are becoming increasingly demanding in this regard. The report concludes that 53% of internet users in Spain seek this type of hotel and 71% would be willing to pay 10 euros more to stay in a hotel that offers sustainability.
